also, you'll never know if there's gonna be a remake or not for these reasons:
1.there is no GBA compatability in the DSi
2.Nintendo makes weird decisions. like the DSiXL (yes, i know that Nintendo doesn't make the pokemon games directly; it's game freak).

BUT some people still have DS Lites. 

yeah, like me, but pokemon games are probably moving from the traditional DS platform to the 3DS platform, which also doesn't have a GBA slot...

I just got word that there will be Virtual Console for GB and GBC games will be on the 3DS.

Sonic and the Secret Rings was originally called Sonic Wild Fire.

Knuckles is considered jamaiacan, due to the fact he has dredlocks (lol) and listens the Blues/Jazzy type music.

-A Pokemon episode was removed for causing hundreds of seizures in Japanese kids.

It was possibly banned because guns are repeatedly pointed at people threateningly at several points in this episode, and warning shots are fired, and that editing them all out would be difficult for the story. This may or may not also be banned because of a scene where James and Meowth hold a police-style interrogation. In the scene, Meowth wears a mustache resembling that of Adolf Hitler.

-Also, despite the fact that many other mainstream American Saturday morning cartoons feature bombs and refer to these weapons as such, 4Kids is hesitant about saying the "B-word" in Pokemon. Team Rocket can often be found saying ridiculous phrases like "Blaster balls away!" which seems like a really foolish attempt at censorship because most children actually know what a bomb in a cartoon looks like.
