Re: Beta Flash player

I must say that this player is EXCELLENT!!!
Most of my games are totally unplayable online and must be downloaded to work, but this player plays the project online FASTER than it is downloaded!

Thank you SO much for making this! I love it!  smile

I might return for a little while.

As part of our experiments with Flash, we are now releasing a beta version of a Flash player that you can use instead of the Java player. Please let us know what you think. If you find any bugs, please tell us what browser, operating system and version of Flash you have.

Thanks!

[Edit: Report bugs here!

Re: Beta Flash player

the flash player is faster and less glitchy. i myself love the fullscreen mode and loading screen but if you are going to keep the fullscreen mode make it actual fullscreen because i dont want to have a scrollbar.

Re: Beta Flash player

It stinks. The third level of my game I worked hard on is ruined and most people will probably not like it because of Flash Player. Please, PLEASE get rid of it!

Re: Beta Flash player

It's pretty cool, I noticed some projects loaded faster, and some even worked better online.

Re: Beta Flash player

The Flash Version of The project where I first noticed Flash reacts slow. Some other projects might be good. I'll comment again after I've tested some of my projects.

Well if you wanted honesty, that's all you had to say. I never want to let you down or have you go, it's better off this way.

Re: Beta Flash player

I don't think the ask block works with the player, and this project doesn't work right. In the experimental viewer it didn't work at all, but now it does with this beta flash player, just not in the right way.

You can easily turn the flash player off, and if it's downloaded it should work fine...=/

Re: Beta Flash player

Projects with music load slowly near the end (Same thing with Java)
My projects work great!
The featured project "Swaps" loads but doesn't show anything.
The large screen thing is annoying because when you use you only see part of the project.

Re: Beta Flash player

Awesome. This project doesn't work though, the character just falls through the ground. Not sure why. Full-screen doesn't work for me either, I use Mozilla Firefox.

Re: Beta Flash player

It works well, but there are a couple glitches, one of which is that graphic effects are distorted.

Re: Beta Flash player

In Windows 7 the 'full-screen' button enlarges part of a game but doesn't switch to full screen. Tested in Firefox and Explorer. Flash version 10,2,152,26

Also on a recent game that I now can't find   :-)   [ something to do with a miner and you build blocks or something ] the figure dropped right to the bottom of the screen instead of resting on the 'grass' layer near the top.  Maybe the 'if touching colour' is temperamental.
