Does anyone know how to make a slider? If so, please post.

I think is easy.
You have to make a variable. Set the thickness of the pen to the value of that variable.
You can change the aspect of the variable to it shows like a slider by double click on its view in the stage.

Hi, this is my pic to help you:
As Maximo said, you can right-click on the variable's view in the stage, and select 'show slider'. After that, right click again and choose 'set slider min and max'. Here you can set the min and max value of the slider (eg. 1 to 30).
You can add more scripts to that sprite, of course.
But don't forget to push the green flag button to activate your scripts.
