greenpois0n users go here!

Anyone using greenpois0n to jailbreak your iPod Touch, iPhone, or Apple TV? If so, tell me about what you did here, BTW, RC5 was only out for 1 week! It has now gone to RC6!
EDIT: I used sn0wbreeze to jailbreak! Yeaz!

Re: greenpois0n users go here!

Downloaded it, ran it, followed the directions to put it into DFU mode, and uh... yeah. Pretty much it.  hmm  Or did you want to know what tweaks/addons/etc we installed?

Re: greenpois0n users go here!

You turn off your iOS Device, then greenpois0n helps you enter Device Firmware Update (DFU) mode. Then you click Jailbreak and the rest is guessable.

@iham: I got to that part. The text? Done. However, Loader is white, and it crashes every time i open it.

Reboot your device.
If that doesn't work, what OS (on your computer) are you currently running and what type is your device? I can send you my working copy if you are using Windows. If I do that though, you may need to restore.  hmm

Nope.

greenpois0n readme wrote:

start the Loader application (green icon on the SpringBoard), and follow instructions to install Cydia

Loader appears as a icon that looks like a downloading app (minus the bar.) http://img87.imageshack.us/img87/8590/photogv.png

P.S. My mom made me get PopMath.  sad

1. learn of you don't have to have the app in the dock.
2. Reboot your device. Does it work?
3. Is that an iPod touch 2nd generation?

I had to reboot by iPod to get Loader working. I would guess that it would work for you too.

Did you reboot? Gold the power button, slide to power off, wait a few after it does, then turn it on.

Sorry, my working copy is windows.
There's a new RC6.1 you should try, but if you want to use that, you most likely have to restore your iPod.

Note: backing up doesn't backup app data.

Re: greenpois0n users go here!

Are you willing to try restoring?

I might find another way that can prevent restoring...if not i'll remove this line from the post.

iPod touch 2G MC Model?

How to tell: see if the model number has "MC" in it anywhere

I meant the second method.

I know you want the second method, that is why I am asking.

Re: greenpois0n users go here!

I don't know if there is a way without restoring...How many apps do you have?
(Settings -> General -> About and read Applications). (i have 50  tongue )
It shows how many app store apps you have, not the default ones.

My iPod touch 4G is an MC model and it worked, my brother's iPod touch 3G is an MC model and it worked.....?
