A zombie dungeon in the open... Why do I always see dungeons like that? This time the loot wasn't much, 2 bread, 4 wheat and 2 redstone hmm

Lol, I never use saddles. tongue Well, after finding the dungeon I went on an epic underground trip, and found a huge cave system. What made it epic was that the cave was full of mobs lol. I even fell on lava, managed to get out and survived by constantly eating lol. But then a zombie killed me and I lost 6 diamonds D:

The hell? Lapis is really common on my 1st world, despite that is supposed to be rarer than diamond. I have not been able to find diamond.

First check around the area you found it (there could be more)
Secondly make a diamond pick
Thirdly find lava (should be close to the diamond)
Then pour water over it
Next mine 8 obsidian (should take around 2 minutes (15 secs per block) )
Then make a portal
