Calling all scratch experts
hi okay so iam new and iam trying to make a project on to kill a mocking bird (book) and iam haveing trouble makeing the game first all how can i make lets say sprite boo that when he moves right so does the backround also to jump and land on blocks and other stuff please help!! thanks i know its scrolling and stuff but please help!!

First, I LOVE that book.
Second, you can find everything you need at the scratch wiki on the bottom of the front page. Building a platform game is pretty complex but if you are smart you can figure it out. you could also try the screen by screen scrolling found in http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/hunnerman/1486802

Ah, another scrolling problem, no need to fear, chocolete24, llama dude is here! Wow, that sounds cheezy. Well, anyways, try looking at this informational, helpful Scratch wiki article. It has all the scripting, details, explanation, and further complex scripting if advanced.

It uses variables. A bit like scores.
