I thought about making a Scratch Blocks website. (like Scratch resources) Everyone could upload blocks which will be checked by the Scratch to see if they are safe. If the Scratch blocks is completely unsafe (e.g shuts down the computer, deletes files) the Scratch team would delete it straight away. If the Scratch block could be used for unsafe things (e.g internet block) the Scratch would put a warning message saying e.g "This project contains projects that may harm your computer. The blocks could: open a webpage, etc." If you want to install a block, it would only be one click (I`m sure the Scratch team has people who can do this).
What do you think?

I think they mean custom blocks, like the URL block, mesh blocks, etc.
The only problem with this idea is that Scratch might not be as easily moddable as it is now when 2.0 comes, since it'll be in Flash instead of Squeak.

Yeah, I was thinking about that! I'm really disappointed to hear that it might be impossible with 2.0

That is a shame, but at least we can continue modding older versions of Scratch.
