...The meaning of life? Lately I've been thinking that and I've come to a conclusion that life has no meaning, it just is. But I want to know what your input is. Maybe there is a meaning of life after all.
So, what do you think?

42 is the number of minutes needed to get to anywhere on Earth through a straight line using only the force of gravity.
42 is the number of times an object will travel the area of it's orbit (Not the circumference) every second at the speed of light around our sun.
The meaning of life is not to question the meaning of life. <-- I have been saying that for ages.

There is no meaning or purpose. What would cause a meaning. Everything just came to be. And for something to be it doesn't need a meaning.

"The meaning of life" is a pointless phrase. The only thing that matters is what you choose to do with your life. There is no one "higher truth", nothing that is the absolute right or best course of action.
It is up to every person to determine what they believe to be the most morally righteous and correct and to pursue this path. Do not force your beliefs on others, simply live life to its fullest, aim at accomplishing all you wish to, and eventually you will be satisfied by your efforts.

It says in the Bible that Jesus said to God:
"Father, I want a bride."
So They had a conversation, and God made the world.
At the end of the world, us, the people of God, are Jesus's bride.
At least, that's what is says in the Bible. Jesus didn't want pre-programmed angels who would already do anything Jesus wanted, so He told God to create something that could make their own decisions, and act by themselves, and do what they wish and what they could.
Then he created us. And animals, and water, and light, and the rest of the world.

And how do you know that? How do you know there is no higher truth, or absolute right or wrong? Aren't you, by saying that there is no absolute truth, stating something that is true? How could your statement be true if there is no truth?

Where in the Bible does it say that Jesus told God he wanted a bride or that they had a conversation and created the world?

I don't recall that at all... what Bible did you read?

@ Harakou and Sunrise-Moon:
I don't really know, but I learned it in Sunday-School at Church today.
The teacher said it was recorded in some weird place in the Bible, that wasn't the beginning.

DingDong! What a wonderful little cynic you have become.

This question is the same as 'What is death? Memory? Emotion? Infinity? Thought?' I'm a pretty good thinker, but nobody can figure out what life is, much less it's meaning. We're just here, and nobody can go further than that.

But seriously, the meaning of life is the bare fact that life is existent. If life is able to be lived, live it. And enjoy it, because there's no reason not to.

Live is for enjoyment. I mean, imagine how boring it would be just being nothing in a black sort of thingy.
