...likewise, #F1F1F1 is best for quotes.

That doesn't work on Internet Explorer, so I wouldn't recommend relying on it... use [color=#dedfdf]text goes here[/color] for normal text and [color=#f1f1f1]text goes here[/color] for text inside quote boxes.
