Yeah, the Japanese and French versions are uncensored. Still, they could've been better off without Chris. This goes for ANY version. That's why I'm happy he got stabbed.

There is a funny rule in japanese animation that sights of animals or human like animals should be balanced with humans that only stand back and watch stuff happen, and help out every now and then. Followed by said human having conersations.
