I would. Not because of Internet problems (I have a reliable connection), but I'm used to having a maximized scratch window without browser buttons.
But I would use the online version too if I can't download scratch.

I would use the offline version more than online, for the same reason as you and because I'd feel more used to it in general.

I would use it a lot, for the same reasons as you. In addition, I just find that running an application in a plugin within a browser tends to be much slower than just running a desktop application.

Lol, I think everyone is gonna say "same reason as you".

Same.
The downloaded version sounds like it could handle more before it lags.

Me, for sure, there is no doubt, when I don't use it for scripting I use it to play music. It is on 95% of the time I am on.

I'd use the offline version too, not like I'll ever need to do my Scratchy stuff in another computer.

Wow, has the Scratch Team seen the results in this topic? It might inspire them to put lots of work into the offline version
I'm just worried that they're going to neglect the offline version; as Scratch 2.0 will mainly be online, that's what I would expect.
But I'm sure Scratch 2.0 will pwn anyway
