Here's the plan:

We're making a micro game compilaion game like warioware. This will allow for our variety of skills to be used to make varying games and not force all of the work on one person.

I will make a base to build minigames on in a way that I can easily begin and end them with MAXIMUM PERFORMANCE. The base will work by generating a random number between 1 and the number of games loaded and then will broadcast that number. The game will start and then end in precisely four seconds. The base will allow for focusing completely on making the game and not worrying about any engine inconsistencies.

There will be aproximately 15 sprites for use in each game which are reused for every game to keep up performance. The sprites you specify to turn on for your game will unhide and the others remain hidden. All 15 sprites will hide when the game ends and the intermission will start. A jingle will be played depending on whether you lost the game or won it, which can be defined by a variable.

Even if you win the game halfway though the game will not abruptly end, the base will wait the full 4 seconds, so something animated has to happen to keep the player interested when the game is won.

Each member will make somewhere between 5 and 10 four second games, some of which I will polish if they fall short in programming or art. I will make the menus.

Please do not include many sound effects or large image files, the game needs to be under 10mb. The game must have music though, and it MUST be 4 seconds. You can reuse other music if needed.

I will release the base soon.
