yes i have a blank disk i could put a cable to my pc and open up scratch that would work <set pen color to(  smile <set pen color to( <set pen size to( <set pen size to( <stamp><play sound[

2 things:
1. Won't the next version of scratch be built on flash, so you might be able to run it on the Wii?
2. Does the Wii support Flash?

Maybe he means a wii exclusive version with it's own community but it would still be connected to scratch.

Yes the wii does support flash stuff but it has to be made by flash 8 or earlier

I completely support this idea but if someone dosn't have internet connection for their Wii, they wouldn't be able to share the projects they made on the Wii. Also, maybe it would be cool to have your Miis as sprites.  big_smile

Looks like a really cool idea! For those of you being negative about Java, Scratch is a Squeak! program, not Java. And you don't need to download from the Internet channel, it could be its own channel from the Wii shop.

Aside from being unable to show JAVA, the Wii is ending it's life and Nintendo is moving on to the Wii U in 2012, so there is really no reason to make Scratch for the Wii. For the Wii U, though...
