backround switch problems

<switch to costume[<{ backround }>
<end>
I did somthing like that but the variable didn't work right so if the variable was 11 and the backround was 11 it would switch to backround 14 or somthing
help plz

I don't know what the problem is (since I can't see the actual project), but I'd recommend using this instead:
Whatever the problem is, that will definitely work.

I'm taking a break from Scratch until 2.0 comes out. Any messages sent between then and now probably won't be read - sorry.
