Re: Panther development thread

An experimental version of Panther designed to program picaxe microcontrollers rather than a computer.

Re: Panther development thread

I was thinking that you guys should try to make the variables in Panther compatible with the variables in normal Scratch, but that would be very hard. Never mind.  sad

If i understand correctly, this was a side effect of the new variable system.  It wouldnt be that hard: just take this out.  Sparkz is this fixed in 1.1?

Its just a value somewhere in the source, don't ask me where. I'm sure Sparks, or Math or N will know though.

Re: Panther development thread

Does Panther have a working Java Applet? If I could get one I would be interested in using it on my website.

Re: Panther development thread

This might have been said already, but is there a software like Scratch2Exe for Panther? If not, would it eventually be possible to make one?

I tried making one earlier, but the source for it is messed up. You can just use Scratch2exe for it, but you'll have to remember what folder it is in and type the name in. But it is possible.

Re: Panther development thread

Hello! When MathWizz and I were talking (watch out), we got into the conversation of Panther. We were talking and I asked who was still working and such. Well he asked me if I was trying to get in or something. I doubted you, sparks, would even consider me. But he said probably.  big_smile
So here I am, asking if I could join this amazing collab. And you guys have to admit that this is going slowly. You guys only have three people working on it and to get more ideas, you need a new set of eyes.
So I would like to hear your response.
Oh, and Bump.  tongue
Also, If you say no, I will punch MathWizz in the gut for embarrassing me.

Re: Panther development thread

Hey ProgrammingFreak, it is an interesting idea, I was talking to Markyparky56 about this the other day. I desperately want to see development speed up on this project, 1.1 exists, it's just not quite finished and from what I've seen from you on the fora you seem like a trustworthy person with a good programming knowledge so you're ok to join in my book! Especially as nXIII has been silent lately and Sep has quit and Sperry is gone from the face of the earth too lately  smile

Just been talking to Markyparky56, we agree that it would be cool to have you on board and we both wondered: Do you have dropbox?

Oh, what sort of smalltalk programming knowledge do you have? It's the programmers we need most of all at the moment, the PR and such are all set up  tongue

Depends if we have the time, efort and ability. nXIII has disappeared off and sperry aswell. But we're working on it, hopefuly it won't be too long though.

Well yes. Otherwise it wouldn't be of any use. Yes I do.
Do you need verification?
