I'm also new to scratch and was wondering the same thing as to what to do next!. The people have mentioned to download the program, however I didn't got any welcome e-mail which contained the download link. Is that what was supposed to happen or is the download link available on this forum?

Hey Henry, the download is actually open to everybody, no e-mail message needed. If I'm not mistaken, the download link can be seen on the main page if the user is not logged-in. The download link is also available at the bottom of every webpage.
When clicking on the download link, you'll see an optional survey form before you download - if you don't want to fill the survey out, you can do directly straight to the download by scrolling down to find the link to the direct download.

Hey foopets124, I don't believe there is an age limit for Scratch Team members, but Scratch Team membership is limited right now to MIT undergraduates who are interested in the UROP program (see here for more info about the Scratch Team).

If you are a MIT undergraduate, then, you may apply for the position. So...around 20's?

I was actually searching for the download link, and just found the same at the bottom of this forum thread. I really wonder why would anybody put the download link at such a place where very few people look!. I mean one would expect the download link to be available at the top of every forum thread/Web page (where most people look), instead of in the footer area
In any case, thanks for pointing this out!

Nope. The idea of Kaj coming back is a myth now.
Just keep your password strong and safe and you'll be fine.

Actually, it shows clearly up on the user's main page if the user has not uploaded any projects yet, as well as on the front page if the person is not logged in.
