itunes

(wasn't sure where to post this)
So, I just downloaded Itunes, and because I already had music, I said yes, I want to transfure all music onto itunes. Little did I know, It copied ALL the sounds off of scratch, taking up alot of space. Is thee any way to stop this from happening?

Re: itunes

You probably posted this in the right place, as it would really belong in troubleshooting but no one rarely even looks at the posts there and you'll find many more people able to help you here.

Now, just to contradict myself on what I just said, I don't know how to help you. Sorry  tongue

Re: itunes

I'm not sure about stopping it from happening, but you could just delete all those sounds from iTunes...

Re: itunes

Actually coming to think about it...
The way iTunes imports music is pretty sectorial, meaning it takes it folder by folder. If you order your music library in order of addition to list (Date Added), you should have the scratch sounds all in clumps. That way you can select multiple songs and delete them (not permanently!!!)  tongue

Re: itunes

Don't have iTunes scan your entire hard drive.

Re: itunes

ihaveamac, that is not possible. It's either all or none.
ls97, it doesn't matter if I put it in last. It will get to it.
