Still patiently waiting for my turn on the Scratchia save
I just mined like two full stacks of redstone on my save, it's much more common than I thought. I'll have to place a double chest for the cobble too, haha. I also finished the dungeon mob trap, but it doesn't work properly I think I misplaced the water, since the spiders can float freely on it without drowning. I still managed to collect 3 string killing them manually

What mods do you guys use? I just installed Buried Treasures to try it out, maybe I'll get the popular ones like Mo' Creatures too.

I don't use game-changing mods. It makes things unfair. I use betterlight only.

Well I don't like those that drastically change the game (now that I think about it, Mo' Creatures would be one of them.). Also I might have problems playing the Scratchia pass-it-on with mods like these. If you modify the .jar but don't open a certain world, that world won't get affected right? If so then I could just patch and repatch and so on to play with certain mods in certain worlds.

Unless it's a mod that changes how the save files are made, I'm pretty sure it doesn't hurt the save. Also, not all mods hurt saves- I use a LongerLegs mod (let's me climb over single blocks without jumping, really useful) and it doesn't hurt the save. The general rule is, if it's an item/block mod, the save will cause minecraft to crash if you have the item/block in your inventory or it's on the ground. If you don't make the block/item in that save, the save will be fine, and it'll also be fine if you throw the block/item into fire or lava (as said block/item will disappear).

If so I guess I'm going to backup my main world and check out some awesome mods

I'm confused: what is the scratchia save stuff?
It's a pass it on save. When it's your turn, take the save, build in it, and then return it here. Then someone else takes it, and repeats the process.

Is it a server?
No, just a regular single-player save. The-Whiz is taking kinda long to return it

How do you access it?
Sorry for all the Q's

Here's an update:
^The inside of my house, now with a wood floor
^The outside, taken in the day
^The start of an underground plaza
And yes, I have an HD texture pack.

Anyone know how to make a canon? There are lots of videos but none of them seem to work.
And, I also have an HD Texture pack. I use Mixcraft.
Always place TNT (other than the one to be shot) above water, when activated it'll fall to the water and not damage any blocks. I think you have to activate them all at the same time with redstone. Then activate the TNT to be shot right before the others explode. Hope I explained well

that scared me for a sec. XD I really hate creepers now, especially after they destroyed half my awesome house.

Why are you able to stack fishing rods? Because they are tools and degrade, so if you stack a near-broken one onto an unused one they both become broken.
