Our school calls it Winter Recess.  I think it's just some mandatory break we get.  There's another week off in April for Spring I think.

I have a 4 day week in theory due to my birthday being on Friday. Still 5 in reality, but it all depends on how fast I get my work done for the week (as I am home schooled/online school)

No.  Maybe we just have a weird schedule, it could be due to the 3 snow days we had.

Huh, I've also noticed it seems a lot of Scratchers are home-schooled.  Neat.

Where I live, we don't work whole year and only get summer vacation off. We get 5 holidays a year  tongue  each holiday consists of 4-6 weeks but we have them everytime term ends. School starts january and ends December. But we've got holidays every two months. I enjoy this

Wow, that must be fun though! Since I live in Japan, I have to work all year with breaks in between, no summer either.  big_smile  But, I like learning; it makes my brain explode!
