Scratch Giving Me Spyware?
Scratch is giving me BAD spyware. I played a game (made on Scratch) at my sister's boyfriend house, and he said when he scanned his computer, all the spyware was coming from Scratch.
What's going on? Is Scratch even safe?

Yes. The spyware detector might be picking up the fact that scratch can upload information to a server.
My site Find someone post count. Click posts under username. Find number of pages. Times that by 40 for min and 60 for max and you have a rough estimate of post count.

Scratch shouldn't be connected to any type of malware, period.
A few years ago Avast decided the Scratch uninstaller was "malicious" for no reason. Try other antivirus programs and see what they say.
I'm taking a break from Scratch until 2.0 comes out. Any messages sent between then and now probably won't be read - sorry.

Hey djscope and welcome to Scratch! It's great that you are interested in helping in the Scratch community and providing support for other users, but this thread happens to be old. You can see the last date for a post in this thread in the upper corner of the post above.
