Anyone else get this week off?

It's my school's one week break this week.  Is it for anyone else?

I have NO BREAKS WHATSOEVER!  I do schoolwork on every day of the year.

But I am homeschooled, so it is a bit more fun, and the day length is probably ~an hour shorter.

I don't really know.  The school board's name for it is "Winter Recess."  I guess our school needs a certain number of breaks, even if there's no cause.  I think we get another one sometime in April too.

I homeschool to. The fun part about it is that you don't have to get up until eight in the morning and then you don't have teachers, well your teachers are your parents. You also get to do good curriculum like maybe Saxon math or something.

Same here. Except I do: "Minimum Schoolwork" during the summer.

@Rabbit: I get up at 8:50 or, when 'm lucky, 9:30.  wink

I have school more than ever this week!  tongue  For me, school finished at 5pm today, 6pm tomorrow, and somewhere around 10:30pm for the rest of the week (school normally finishes at 3:30  yikes  Although this is because I'm one of my school's drama enthusiasts - I have rehearsals and performances after school).

Although I don't have to go to lessons tomorrow - I'm in an all-day dress rehearsal with my school's Drama department ^^ And I get next week off - which is odd for me - normally we get the third week of February off school.

Ugh I did Saxon 8-7 in 6th and I disliked it now I do algebra 2.

yikes  I don't get a week off.  My school just gives us 1 day off like,, twice every two months or something.

I think it's against the law to keep you until 5, 6, and 10:30 PM!
