So, as you all know, there's just one thing that irks gamers like a pinch in the side: rumors and speculation. Now, I've seen this EVERYWHERE, from the Lavender Town Syndrome, to the "Anti-PS2" subliminal messages in Sonic Adventure 2, and even to Kochal being playable in MK: Deception. Well, this speculation collection (gotta good ring there, lol) is about a question that keeps us lingering on the edge: is it REALLY the end of this? There are two theories in this compilation here: Sonic Colors being the last Sonic game and Pokémon Black and White not having a third version. So, sit back and read on!
1) Sonic Colors: The End?
Now, how to start? Oh yes, hedgehogs and chili dogs. Now, when the famous Sonic the Hedgehog was released, it was only an experiment to see if Sega could oust Nintendo's Mario franchise. Well, for a time, it did! WOW! Well, it went on to become another successful franchise up with the ranks of Mario, Zelda, and Pokémon (which we'll talk about later). It was then that something bad happened. Sonic had a bad chili dog and started making bad games (like Sonic Heros, Sonic '06, etc.), and a lot of older fans left. People thought Sonic now just belonged in that dusty corner of your tool shed. Well, then a savior-no, TWO saviors came. Sonic the Hedgehog 4 and Sonic Colors. Sonic 4 was to bring people back to the paradise the 90's gave us with Sonic, and Sonic Colors was supposed to filter out all of the bad stuff from the 3D games. Well, there's one thing I noticed: Sonic Colors just might be the end. It's plot wraps up the story nicely. Eggman supposedly redeems himself and opens up an amusement park IN SPACE. Well, it was actually a cover up to use the wisps to make a giant mind control beam. After a long game, Sonic beat Eggman for the last time (supposedly), and has a fight with the GIANT Mother Wisp, saving all of the Wisps. Eggman is then stranded in space along with two annoying robots, unable to get back to Earth. To be honest, I wouldn't mind if Sonic Colors ended the franchise. It's plot wraps it up nicely, it's the one thing that 3D Sonic games need, and there's ENOUGH Sonic games already. So, aside from the next few episodes of Sonic 4, this should be it.
2) Pokémon Grey is grayed out?
A recent talk a Spanish gaming community had with Game Freak staff said this:

No, not at all. We've finished this installment with Black and White Versions.
OK, so yeah, a translation from Japanese MAY lead to some translation errors, but still, look! Many gamer's minds translate this to "There will be no Pokémon Grey." OK, it's only logical that there WILL NOT, I repeat, WILL NOT be MagmaRuby and AquaSapphire, but no Grey? Seriously... BUT WAIT, there's some evidence to support/unsupport this theory: Hackers found 3 things not used AT ALL in Black & White. Two were the moves Frozen Bolt and Cold Flare. According to the games coding, the moves were to be used by KYUREM! Kyurem is a Dragon/Ice type legendary, and is said to be the mascot of the supposed Pokémon Grey. Also, the moves seem to poke at Reshiram and Zekrom, as the fact that Cold Flare can cause burn, and Frozen Bolt can cause paralysis. The third thing they found was an item called the "God Stone". It looks like and Light and Dark Stones, but it's GREY. Now, there are three theories as to why they're there:
1) They are data for items to be used in Pokémon Grey, and the data is there so it's compatible.
2) They're beta. Simple enough...
3) They'll be downloaded at a future WiFi event. That makes sense, because if there will be no Grey, they could upload Grey-like content to Back & White, so this theory supports Mana's statement.
So, the status of these game rumors is unsettled, but I think they're likely, as they're strongly supported by evidence. Tell me what you think.

If a series of games is becoming both good and profitable again, then why suddenly give it the axe? THINK LIKE A GAME COMPANY, DARNIT.

I like Sonic, and I personally think it should not stop at Sonic Colors, they may as well make a Sonic Colors 2.

What they SHOULD make is the Dreamcast 2. I personally like Sega's consoles better than Sonic, but that's just me.

It wasn't anti ps2, it was a it was an in-game poster saying that the game would give you bad habits, and at the bottom of the poster it said it was supported by the anti sony ps2 group. The poster was removed from the final game

Fixed.

BUT the Wii (or any other modern console for that matter) doesn't have an LCD screen on the controller!
