My first flash game! (Not on stencyl)

It is VERY simple, and for some reason it doesn't start at the main menu. But it is my first, so I won't tear my hair out yet.

Has any of you guys ever tried flash?

I once made a moving and jumping <('.')> in it, but when it jumped it stayed in the air.
