Oversight.....

A slight oversight I noticed was that there is no hide block for lists. That would be a nice thing to have in the future, thanks for considering it!

I agree.

Small note for those newbies reading this... once you make a list and it shows on the screen, you can Right-click on it and choose Hide.

I'm taking a break from Scratch until 2.0 comes out. Any messages sent between then and now probably won't be read - sorry.

That's also what I meant. I probably should have put your post that was above mine in a quote so it wouldn't be confusing.

I would have liked that feature too (I brought it up during beta testing), but I can see where the scratch team is going with this. Listwatchers seem more like programming/debugging tools rather than parts of a project's UI. After all, they have an "add item" button that only works in development mode. I guess it's back to square one with variable-covering sprites again...
