Using a cave finding glitch which I'm willing to teach you, I found a monster spawner, obsidian, diamond, iron, gold, and much, much, MUCH more.

THAT'S RIGHT! For only $49.99, you can find diamond, iron, and gold, all in your back yard! Order today!
But seriously, what's the glitch?

It's hard to explain, so here's a video I just found on it

Oh, that? Notch couldn't fix that glitch, and some people think that's why he made it so you get hurt from gravel falling on your head (to discourage it).

Woah, I made a new thing and spawned right next to this!
I see lava all the time but this close to my spawn??? Well, there was that lavafall incident...

Grr...
I haven't been able to play Minecraft for over a week. The download won't work, and the online is running SUPER SLOW.

The scratch community are now on minecraft are they? Well, it's a decent game.
Imma got a nice little cosy world. I just normally make some nice inventions. I've made a mob factory, a massive self harvesting cacti farm, a self harvesting farm (flawed concept) and a timer.

What is the Scratch minecraft server's ip?
We don't have an official server... Yet.
Yesterday I lost my Internet connection so I played Minecraft for hours. I found about 3 full stacks of Redstone, a huge lava lake (which was now turned to lots of obsidian), 6 diamonds and of course lots of coal, iron and even gold
I also stole the chests from my already found dungeon for the lulz
Anyone got a good trap design for use with my monster spawner?

A simple one man mob trap is to place a pressure plate and place four doors around the pressure plate so when you step on it, the doors close. Then place one glass block above it to prevent it from escaping, then place a water source block in it for drowning.

He wants it to be automatic, I think. Try this:
swwwwwwwaadddddd ddddddddaadddddd dddddddswaaaagaa ddddddddsswwwwga ddddddddsswwwwwc
d=dirt
a=nothing (air)
s=water source
w=water (don't put anything here)
g=glass (so you can watch them die)
c=collection point
Do this 2 wide, so spiders+cows+pigs will fall in.

Yes. Only it doesn't work with chickens, so make one of the glass blocks cobblestone so you can remove it and kill the chicken. Or just let them give you eggs >:D.

Ok, thanks for the help. I'm building it in a cave so I don't think chickens will fall in it.

Welcome. When minecraft starts working for me again (if it ever does ), I'm gonna make a mob spawning cave.

Arg, I've been doing this for ages and not a single dungeon. DX Where'd you find them? (apart from underground )

Underground 0_o
I know a little trick that needs two sand blocks to find them.
Go to the end of a shaft and look up. Place a sand block on the edge of the block next to the shafts end. Then look down and position yourself so it's only just inside the sand block and then look up and place another one.
You should then be able to look through the walls to find caves and stuff.
