Read the description
i noticed this like a year ago, but i've been wondering if this would get taken down
ok
people are giving other people love-its for projects that aren't very good.
i'm not naming names because i would get banned again
are people just trying to be nice
because giving advice is better than saying something is really good.
if someone says something is really good to spare someone's feelings, they'll continue making projects of that quality. advice, however, inspires a desire for improvement, which will ultimately cause success.
then people can shout about its uber-awesomeness

this started out as more of a rant but ended up as an inspiring message

i really don't like criticizing people's projects (even if its constructively) because kids these days don't know how to handle the nicest of suggestions
and i give love-its away like

but i hardly ever love anything thats already on the fp
because to be honest most of the stuff up there i don't think really deserves to be up there
but if something's good and i like it then yeah i'll love-it whether or not it's on the front page

anyway yeah you're right
but not everyone has very high standards for projects because people of all sorts of ages and levels of knowledge of scratch and levels of humor and knowledge of art come here so with some of the stuff they see, they genuinely think it's amazing even though some people think it sucks
so sometimes people don't just love not-so-good projects to be nice

I agree...
with RB. I usually love anything which isn't on the front page/ won't be on the front page. But I usually give criticism if I can think of some. Well, sometimes.
IMO once you're on the FP it doesn't matter whether you go from 3rd top viewed to 2nd, because people'll see the project just as well. Anyway, I'm not that bothered about getting FPed anyway, because it's not like you get anything really. But the topics changing here so BOT for me
