I am now going to make one. I think.Cool
Oh yes, very. I added a few exclusives for just this game, which doesnt effect the core gameplay at all. Which means 3 games in 1.
Huzza
Minigames, of a sort?

Kinda. Rather, I added 3 different story lines that are interweaving.
It'll make much more sense once I release it.

Also, may I suggest an XP system? Maybe you get a certain amount for each battle or adventure won/completed, and as you level up you may choose to get an additional boost to a certain stat when you start. Like right now, you roll a dice and add 6 to Strength, 8 to Health and 4 to Luck. Every time you level up you may choose to add 1 additional base point to any stat.
Or replace that by achievements (like "beat 5 enemies", "get 5 ring items", "beat an enemy without losing HP", etc.), and each time you get one or complete an adventure you get 1 stat point.
I'm about to finish the adventure (adventures, had to split it in two ), I just need to playtest it and I'll upload it

Well, the thing is that stats from previous adventures aren't supposed to carry over into other adventures. Otherwise, you could become incredibly overpowered. Items are supposed to allow for more stats though (use Luck Potion, gain __ luck, use Strength Potion, gain __ strength, you know).
Also, trophies are the achievement system. Whenever you get a new trophy, you're supposed to add it to your trophy case.
Speaking of which, I should have made an achievement for completing the tutorial. Oh well...
Hey, why not make a text file called "Trophy List", stating all the trophies that you can get in your adventure, and how?

I guess the trophy for defeating the demented computer counts as one for beating the tutorial, since the adventure finishes once you beat him?
About the Trophy List file, I'm not sure... I prefer to keep the hidden stuff, well, hidden. And anyway I've only thought of two trophies for my adventure, one for beating it and the other for taking a certain path.

In what way? Is it rather large, rather small, or a mix of both?

The instructions are a bit confusing. Have you tried the tutorial yet?

Nice work! I was thinking you could make several modes, like Adventure(just wander around and do quests), Survival(fight an endless stream of enemies), Item Collector(collect as many valuable items as you can) and Fun Mode(Like Adventure, but with random and weird choices)

Windows doesn't like the mac newline character, so when I open the text files, they are all one one line.

Ditto, with a squarish thing that looks like [].

I have no idea how to fix that. Maybe I could make the text files rtf rather than txt?

Bump
Also, I'm nearly positive changing the text files to rtf should fix the single line, so I'll be uploading v1.1 soon.

Yep, 'tis a game.
Gratz! That's an average of 12.7 posts per day. At this rate, you'll reach 5000 on 1/7/2012.

You could do the Survival with lots of luck rolls (to choose which enemy you fight, mostly) and telling the player to keep track of how many he killed. Item Collector, by randomly hiding items in folders. Fun Mode is just a regular adventure made to be fun
