does this mean vector graphics? or else the full screen could look bad... I'm so excited that you have decided to use the customizable user page suggestion! Will we be able to use our own background?

Both the customisable user pages and Flash version of Scratch look like they're going to be great additions/changes for Scratch. .

Not yet, but we're kinda taking it one idea at a time. So I wouldn't rule it out, but I can't promise it either.
[Edit - updated]
re: Support for vector graphics is a possibility we will be exploring, but it's too early for us to commit to it.

Is mesh going to be in scratch 2.0?
As far as I know, most likely. It may also have features to connect with people around the world without third party software. Currently, mesh plays with local computers or global with third party software.

The development seems to be going good. I can't wait for its release (or a beta release).
Is there any idea on how the interface will look?

Vector graphics is the use of geometrical primitives such as points, lines, curves, and shapes or polygon(s), which are all based on mathematical equations, to represent images in computer graphics.
Basically, you can zoom into a vector image as far as you want, and it still has good quality.

pretty much. we learned about them in Computer Game Design when we were doing Flash. i would understand about it being too new to use in scratch.... though it could be simplified from what it is in flash.

Awesome! One small thing I want to mention. Unfortunately, we can't really run a true full screen mode using the flash player. Flash has built in security that limits the keystrokes that a program can listen for when it's in full screen mode. So if we did make the player true fullscreen, Scratch projects running in it could only use the arrow keys, spacebar, and a few other keys. That means all projects that use the rest of the keys - like WASZ, for example - wouldn't work correctly, which we thought would really suck.
So our best compromise was to use full-window mode. This means the project will try to make the web browser window bigger, and then fill it up. Not quite fullscreen, but all the keys work - so it seems way better.
Just thought I'd clear that up.

So the letters WASZ don't work on flash when it's in actual fullscreen?
