Ok, so there's two of them. I can't remember when I watched them. One was computer animated (mostly?) while the other was animated. I guess the computer animated one was year 2000 or later, while the animated one was 1980 or later, maybe earlier, idk. Probably later.
BTW, if you do know what they are, they are good movies I would recommend watching them.
Ok, the first one (animated)has three kids in a modern village/city thing at sunset. I think they had just gone to the theaters or some museum, and somehow they initiate this time-travel device or portal. They appear in some old sea-side town. One of the kids sees a thief behind a woman, and is about to warn her, but the woman already knows, and knocks out the thief. The woman and boy get acquainted, and I think go to a bar or something, but then the villain of the movie I think sets fire to the town. The woman and kid get in a hot-air balloon somehow, and the woman blames the happening on the boy, even though it wasn't his fault. Later, the kids are trying to escape from the villain and go with the woman on a ship near a dock. The woman's dad fights off the villain on the dock with a sword. The villain surrenders, and hte dad turns around to wave at the end of the dock, and the people on the ship point behind him, but he doesn't understand, and immediately, he has a sword in his chest. The villain didn't give up, he lied. That's all I remember D:
Another movie(computer animated), seems to kinda start out like Titan A.E. on one part, to where the boy is in a forest playing with something. Except this is a flying device, and the world he's on is a group of islands. The islands are attacked, and the boy escapes into the clouds on the flying device. Suddenly it turns computer animated, and the boy sees a big space ship in the sky. They pick him up and later on he becomes a turretman and friends with this other turretman, who gets wounded in the turret defending the ship.
I was looking on Wikipedia of movies by Twentieth Century Fox, Warner Bros. Animation, and Universal Pictures. Universal Pictures I didn't look much cuz there are just way too many to look throughEDIT: or not cus I just found out it was Universal Animation and they don't seem to have the movie. But the other two I'm kinda sure the movies I'm looking for are from them. Oh and hte movies are probably not from Disney. I'm sure I guess.
Any1 know?

You describe them the way one would describe a dream. Could it be that they were only dreams?

No, I remember watching both of them. They're kinda older. I might of watched the animated one on TNT (idk) in early 2000's or late 90's. The other one, the computer animated one, was probably mid-to-late 2000's. Cuz I remember watching that one at my grandparents house. I think we had gotten it from the library. I think it had a silver cover with a circle on the front, showing the characters, and then a red colored title. I don't know
