Well this isn't good.
I have 10% battery life in my laptop and my charger is broken in half. I might not be able to use it at all for a while, or possibly ever if they don't make this kind of charger anymore, and it has all my Scratch files on it. Bad.

Alright. 6% left. I'm gonna start emailing myself all my files so I can get them on our main computer at least for now.

Welp, it's dead. I'm on our desktop now, fortunately I scrounged around and found a USB. Thanks for making me look for one, ssss.
The charger's been wearing out for a while now, the casing was gently being worn away through use until the wires started poking out. At that I covered the broken area with electrical tape, but eventually it kind of broke in two.
I'll probably be on less often now until I get a new charger, I was much more active on my laptop, plus my dad uses this computer often.

I always backup. I do it to a separate hard drive.
If your laptop comes back from the dead 
, then backup in case your laptop dies again and can't get it started again.
