Re: Help me become a geek!

To become a geek take the following steps:

1. Learn C and C++
2. Start contributing to Linux
3. Start fiddling with windows and it's various important files  smile
4. Set up a web server
5. Read all the books on programming and pc's you can  tongue
6. Collect a HUGE amount of old pc parts.
7. Keep a Zx Spectrum to show off to ur friends

And that is my guide to become a pc geek!

And while you're at it, listen to onestop.mid because it's awesome. Not an important file, but it's kinda hidden  wink

Re: Help me become a geek!

1) Collect every single game featuring the character you are interested in, eg. Sonic: buy all Sonic games.
2) Tuck your shirt in and pull your trousers (what we call pants in the UK) up really high.
3) Wear massive glasses.
4) Read all of the manuals you have of video games, computer manuals etc.
5) Watch this song (link to video) and recite it.
6) Learn Flash, Java, C++ etc.
7) Hack a computer.
8) Infect your computer with a virus and get rid of it somehow.
9) Hack your school's computer network.
10) Rick Roll someone.

And you're done!

tomicool Edit: I should type a bit slower next time. XD

Re: Help me become a geek!

Just to clear up any confusion, tomicool's original post contained a swear. I edited it to remove that, but I didn't realize that it was a merely a typo. I edited it again to change it to "shirt" where it now stands.

Meh, I dunno - Americans say pants, so I didn't know if trousers was a term that's used over there as well.

We call them that in the UK, too. Never heard of Borides/Borders, though. We have Jeans, etc.

Loafers, shorts, pants, trousers, trunks, we use all sorts of terms for pants.
