It's unconfirmed, but if you look at the original it looks pretty convincing... However it says:

Well be sending out an announcement with news about Scratch 2.0 this week...

1. That doesn't mean it's coming out, it's just an announcement with news about 2.0, and it will probably be the flash player, there are confirmed reports about that coming out soon.
2. It says "well" rather than "we'll," suggesting that it wasn't necessarily written by the Scratch Team. Could be a careless mistake though.

Scratch 2.0? what is going to be updated in that? and yeah weirdf. they mess up on we'll and put well. it might just be a simple mistake from a little too bit of a careless typer. But it also might be someone impersonating the scratch team. i dont really know what to think about the careless, or not so careless mistake, but if scratch 2.0 is really coming out than i will be happy.
