That's a lie drilled into your heads by teachers. Wikipedia is always fact-checked with citations and everything. So yeah. Not really.

Oh yeah because quantum physics really is the study of the camel's digestive habits.
It can be edited by anyone. It's not at all reliable. Use it as a source in high school or college and you'll fail, after of course everyone stops laughing at you.

Braces hurt. But only when they are tightened. When you get them tightened, they will KILL whenever you try to eat for about 3 days afterward.
You can still eat pretty much whatever you want, just no gum or chewy foods. Oh, and yes, food gets stuck in your braces. SO MUCH. I recommend rinsing your mouth out whenever you can at the nearest water fountain, especially after you eat. Just take one or two sips of water, swish it around, and then swallow it or spit it out into the water fountain (don't do this if people are looking).

Anyways, what's wikipedia going to say. "Ouch boy do they hurt"? No, they take a neutral stand. Some people obviously wouldn't feel the pain so they can't speak for everyone so it's a no go. Why was wikipedia even linked to when the questions was 'Do braces hurt?" ?

that's my point, it doesn't matter if it's "unreliable"
