Anyone played 'em? Anyone have 'em? Talk about the games that started it all right here!
I have Blue on my Game Boy Color.
I don't really play it much, though, since I'm too into Crystal. HEE HEE HEE.
And yes, Pokemon Green is a real game. It was never released in the US (well, it was, but in the form of LeafGreen), for those who didn't know.
Have you used GameShark codes on either one (be honest)? I know I have. I'm not telling you what for though.

Ah the good days. I play Red on an emulator, but the darn thing doesn't let me play past the Elite Four. Dunno why.

That's strange. I had a similar experience.
I only got to the Elite Four once in Red. I was just about to fight them, but I decided to take a break, so I closed the emulator. When I played that game again on VisualBoyAdvance, it erased my game, for some unknown reason.
AFTER ALL THAT HARD WORK...

At least I got to beat them.

I got Red and the original PKMN Pinball in an emulator (And various other later games from every generation). PKMN Pinball kept me busy when I had it (RUMBALPACK!)

I play Yellow + Red on an emulator. (I'm at the elite four in red, and I just started in yellow.)

Careful, emulators are notorious for not letting you continue past the elite four, because normal saving fails on the emulators I've seen. While state saving works for most of the game, beating the elite four goes to the menu and you have to select your save, though you don't have one. It happened to me. Might not happen to you though.
I hope you picked a good emulator.

I can save fine... I haven't played red for a while.

Played Yellow on my GBA. Then GBA SP because I could actually see the screen in the dark. I like the Mew Glitch. I encountered a yellow missingno once without the game freezing. Simple was best. Now I have to remember over 500 pokemon and their weaknesses. That was enough in Gen 4.
Gen 4 was great too.
I tired to make a perfect 3 lv 50 pokemon team. The 3 pokemon managed to cover over 450 pokemon with an advantage and about 30 with a struggle (Oder matters) and the rest wooped their butt.
Then I made a perfect counter team.

Then I got bored.

I had blue, but then I caught MissingNo and lost my Zapdos and Articuno. And then I somehow lost the game cartridge itself.

I got yellow at gamestop. I like how you could get all 3 starters.
