You didn't capitalize "doesn't".
It doesn't matter too much for no capitalization (but excessive is just not right), because it's still readable and doesn't affect the ease of reading the post. But some people just don't talk right. Like:
i am get the project but still i am work so wait whiles.
which is supposed to be:
I will get the project, but I am still working, so wait a while.
This is how I normally talk, which I think is fine.
that game is so cool! i love that part, but there's some glitches you need to fix.
Me:
Grammar: √
Punctuation: √
Spelling: √
Spaces: √
Capitalization: not needed, but should not be excessive (Like This, It Gets Annoying, Right?)
And yes, that is a square root sign.

I agree with Chrischb. Grammar exists for a reason. When you ignore it, your sentences become difficult to understand and a pain to read in general. That's why I'll often skip over posts with no sign of capitalization, punctuation, proper spelling, etc. It also makes the poster look unintelligent. Call me uptight, but I just don't feel it's worth my time.
dude i hear you
but i am tripping over all that punctuation like i dont know how you did it but you seem to have the highest word to punctuation ratio ive ever seen in a post

I would say you have the lowest word to punctuation ratio, but you can't divide by zero.
Edit: Wait, if you meant I used a lot of punctuation, that would make the ratio relatively low, not high.

That seriously made me laugh.
But truly, I can make the highest punctuation to word ratio.
Yeah, right? ...

I don't mind unless the poor grammar slows down my reading.

I didn't have to capitalize "doesn't". It was a continuation of the previous sentence.

I agree that grammar is an important part of posting in forums if you want to be taken seriously. Sure, on a forum you might not need to type everything out perfectly, but it's good practice for life in general: no-one is going to take you seriously if your job application, website, CV or written work is full of obvious mistakes or "trendy" word shortenings. Then again I don't mind the occasional mistake that's caused by someone not spotting the mistake when they posted.
Here's a list of things that DO annoy me though (when they happen regularly in the same post):
• mispeling on prps cos its kl
• Confusing your and you're; there, their and they're and generally thinking that
apostrophes aren't needed.
• Commas after the word "and".
• Not using periods or any punctuation.
On the other hand, I've been yelled at before for writing colour with a U. The comment stated (roughly):
someone wrote:
It's spelt color not colour, stupid! Learn to spell English!
which was mildly amusing. I find that I have to spell it colour when I'm talking about colour and spell it "color" when I'm referring to a block or something in the Scratch source code.

dude grammar is awesome man
i mean this is really unnatural for me bro
i sometimes forget grammar in the tbgs but not usually here
but it ticks me off when people do what im doing now and not use any grammar at all or write a sentence like the one below
yo sup dawgz man i got ma uggs wats hangin in ur world dude bro man dude bro man dude bro man
its like youre an attention seeking 10 year old

I try to be kind of lenient, but I never am. The most minor errors get on my nerves, when I know I should just let it fly.
I make grammatical errors bother me. Why? Grammar is fun!

I do not do well with incorrect grammar.

Nor do I, really

Title says all.
I personally think a lot of the time, we make to much of a big deal about it when people have a few mistakes in spelling or grammar (like I once remember mispelling "meet" as "meat [I'm a vegetarian and I'm not freakin' scared of him]).
I don't either.
But what bugs me is when the grammar is just completely atrocious. That's when it's not a "different people know better grammar issue". Like when it's a teenager writing without any capitals, commas, or periods.
Like this:
lol dude i played this video game it sucks so bad dude bro man dude bro man.
That's when it's just too far.
Your opinion?
Man. I so agree with you. I try the best to type as correct as possible. I remember I got kind of upset when people kept saying I was copy and pasting in the forums, but it's really because they don't type right! I actually took the time to type that all out without "LOL", and here these people come along and blame me for copy and pasting. The only reason they think that is because they don't type with correct grammar. They think I'm the idiot for copying (when I didn't), but then they all type like:
"* man i was tryin too telll youu wat happend in tht tv show it was like sooo awesomee rofl lol omg haha lmao"
As if that's any more intelligent. In other words, you're right. I hate how they type these days.
