Title says all.
I personally think a lot of the time, we make to much of a big deal about it when people have a few mistakes in spelling or grammar (like I once remember mispelling "meet" as "meat [I'm a vegetarian and I'm not freakin' scared of him]).
I don't either.
But what bugs me is when the grammar is just completely atrocious. That's when it's not a "different people know better grammar issue". Like when it's a teenager writing without any capitals, commas, or periods.
Like this:
lol dude i played this video game it sucks so bad dude bro man dude bro man.
That's when it's just too far.
Your opinion?

Drat, I was looking through all of that to find an unintentional grammatical error.
I try to be kind of lenient, but I never am. The most minor errors get on my nerves, when I know I should just let it fly.

People can write however they want
You shouldn't try to dictate what's right in terms of how people should speak on the internet. Chances are they don't care

So do I. But I make small mistakes when I type fast, so, I really don't care about tiny little things like apostrophes in certain places.

dude grammar rules arent cool
you gotta write without any emotion and use words like cool dude man bro
also you gotta double space every sentence since ya know you cant use periods bro man dude
(That's enough... honestly, how does anyone stay serious writing like this?)

Well, if I really wanted to, I could type in a uptight way to convey that I really care about what people think of me and that I want to give the best impression possible.

Unless they think those words are actually spelled like that.

I agree with Chrischb. Grammar exists for a reason. When you ignore it, your sentences become difficult to understand and a pain to read in general. That's why I'll often skip over posts with no sign of capitalization, punctuation, proper spelling, etc. It also makes the poster look unintelligent. Call me uptight, but I just don't feel it's worth my time.

Grammar is much easier to understand, and makes you look more mature.
For example :
10 year-old with good grammar wrote:
I think grammar is good.

13 year old with bad grammar wrote:
i thionk gmmar is bda leik ;olololololololo omg liol adn tis koolio like bro man dude
Which looks more mature?

Do You Know What Else Is Annoying? When People Start Every Word With A Capital Letter. (Yes, I did that on purpose)
I don't know why it annoys me so much, but it just seems like people don't want to worry about capitalizing the right words, so they do it to every one. In a way, it's just as bad as improper spelling. Not every word is a proper noun people!

It's so annoying, I decided to quit a collab (well, I never was in it, but I helped) because of it.

Yeah.It really annoys me when people do this too!I mean,is it supposed to be implied that a punctuation mark is a spacer?NO!
It also kind of annoys me when people have otherwise perfect grammar and spelling, but they don't capitalize their "i"s. It's almost as if they don't like themselves, because "I" refers to the user. Look at this (not a real comment):

doesn't that just seem out of place?
