[detailnazi]Actually, I think they were Muttations, which would mean they were mutations of dogs and corpses.[/detailnazi]

[DetailNazi+]Yes, they were muttations, and they were --WOLVES-- & --CORPSES-- not dogs, as dogs are nowhere near as vicious as wolves, and they were referenced to as wolves [/DetailNazi+]

But Mutts are a type of dog, and although Katniss calls them wolves, they are, technically, dog/corpse mutations.

For those who don't know, it is about a future world in which a boy and a girl from each of twelve districts continue in a fight to the death every year. It sounds really violent and disgusting, but it is a GREAT book. It's not all violent, it has the character's politic views and thoughts, and everything about the book is amazing. In the Hunger Games arena, it's not even all violence, it's survival, and alliances, and it's such a great book. If you have not read it, I really hope you will.
I am on book two.
Not book three.
Book two.

I read the hunger games. I couldn't believe how great that book was. I couldn't stop reading it. I'm on the second one Hopefully it'll be as good as the first. I heard that someone might make a movie of it. (Can you picture that!)

Re: The Hunger Games

I read the first book because it was a gift from my friend. I liked it, but i'm afraid I'm not jumping up to buy the second one. Sorry. But if the author ever writes any other kinds of books, I'll read them, because she writes well. I just didn't like this as much because the plot was so violent.

At least it's not Twilight.

I couldn't picture a movie, it would be so bloody, and they cold never get across the action taken in the book inside the character's minds and not speech.

TigerKidClub???
anyway
Brain Jack is a great book. Better than Hunger Games and I recommend it to anyone who likes technology.
The Hunger Games are so incredibly bloody that a movie about it would have to be rated R or something.

For me, it was when the main character was "pregnant". I clearly saw that the author was groping around for ideas.
