Re: Scratch Anti-Piracy League

What exactly can the Scratch Anti-Piracy League do to prevent piracy?

...And how can you say that the poor are lazy? That's a terribly general statement, if you ask me.

No, the worthy are good and the poor are lazy. You should read Ayn Rand. Back to the topic of piracy.

People are born poor you know.

So? Go to a community college, take a class in stock market, be rich and happy! If you aren't rich you're lazy.
Let's not get distracted, though. Talk about how it's wrong to pirate.

I'm not even responding to that.

Re: Scratch Anti-Piracy League

Read some Ayn Rand, stop moving this off topic, or stop posting in this topic. The choice is yours.
I knew somebody who pirated Inception. I called the police on him  smile  .

And if they work hard and think smart, [usually] they can make money.

There are no community colleges in third-world countries. Come to think of it, there's often no clean water within reasonable walking distance their, either. Even in the United States, a college degree or an ability to trade stocks is by no means a guarantee of prosperity. I come from a family of college graduates and my chances of going to college are largely dependent on my getting some sort of scholarship. I stand by what I said: "poor people are lazy" is a gross generalization.

That's what I was going to say if I actually commented. I would have said it rudely, so I decided not to.

I think you got that mixed up.

That statement is definitely not true.

The converse, is though.

The lazy are poor and the good are worthy.
