Welcome, JRL1283, JasmineVang, AlphaFire, and Faizal0908.  JRL1283, a pen draws behind a sprite.  If a sprite has pen "down" (which can be set with the pen down block), it will leave a trail behind it.  You can change the size, color, and shade of the pen, and you can clear or lift the pen as well.  A pen starts, by default, down.

Feel free to ask on the "All About Scratch" forum if you need help, everyone!
