Do braces hurt?
OK, I'm a bit confuzzled. You see, a few days before my 13th birthday, I am getting braces put in for THE REST OF MY TEENAGE LIFE. I've already had my teeth extractions (THAT HURT SO MUCH), so I was just wondering - do braces hurt when they put them in? And when you have them, are you alowed chocolate and food like that?
I might return for a little while.

Yes.
Sometimes I'm in some bad pain because of the HOOKS they put and they totally prick your tounge
the first 4 days are bad, 2nd was the worst for me

The first day you get them on, they hurt really bad. It hurts for about a week, so make sure you have lots of soft food. After that first bit you won't even notice them (until you get them tightened).
Also, they'll tell you not to eat gum or hard candy, but I did it all the time so don't worry about it 
I'm taking a break from Scratch until 2.0 comes out. Any messages sent between then and now probably won't be read - sorry.

Yes. You'll be screaming in pain. Everyone will think your a metal mouthed freak. You will lose all your hard comfort foods and friend(s) and Go Crazy!
That's assuming you over react and are metally unstable.
Otherwise it's nothing to worry about.
My site Find someone post count. Click posts under username. Find number of pages. Times that by 40 for min and 60 for max and you have a rough estimate of post count.

They don't hurt that much... I have to get 4 more, though...

Wikipedia is highly unreliable because every joker can edit it freely. Te only thing it's good for is getting a start on research. Instead of using the Wikipedia page, go to the places it cites. Those are guaranteed to be good references
