NXT and Scratch

Since NXT and Scratch are both made at MIT, why don't the two programs join up so that you have all the convince of Scratch format that makes sense that you can use on NXT Mindstorms. You should also be able to use Scratch to control your NXT through Bluetooth and vice versa. That would be useful.

Re: NXT and Scratch

NXT is made by Lego, not MIT. I agree that Mindstorms interaction with Scratch wouls be great though; it's so much more flexible and common than the WeDo. A lot of people already have NXT sets, and it would be fun to use.

Re: NXT and Scratch

There is a topic in Sensor board subforum about one project based on Scratch to program NXT Mindstorms.
