Query to interface MOTOR

Hi
  Im designing a robo with 4 motors and 4 sensors ( ALL SHOULD BE INDEPENDENTLY CONTROLLED ). Im trying to control all through USB cable using SCRATCH. Kindly guide me how to interface and control all these.
