For some reason Creapers like it under my house .-.. Finally finished building a basic roof/walls, so I turned off peaceful mode. The next day I see a Creaper under their, panic, but manage to get it to explode away from the house.. 30 seconds later I'm inside the house and I hear 'SSSSSSS', run out of the house and the Creaper follows and I kill it. I calm down, walk everywhere under their and assume I killed them both and go back into the house to finish building a room I'm making..

'SSSSSS'.. Half my floors gone (I rebuilt it though)...

Gone back to peaceful mode for now, how'd I stop them spawning under my house literally every half a minute e.o?

I think they spawn where it's dark. Try putting some torches under your house.

Did you guys ignore me? I asked how to remove cave ambiance.
Edit: I deleted it from %appdata% but it just put it right back.

The only way is completely turning off sound. Besides, cave ambience is cool.

I mean, some of them are. But cave1.ogg is creepy...

(Look it up on google or run %appdata%. It should be straightforward from there)

Besides, The sounds of mobs get me running out of my wooden plank house with a stone sword and leather armor and beat up the spider. Skeleton is a different story.

Edit: Does anyone have a good new block texture?

Animals are attracted to light. That's good. Now pigs(bacon big_smile ) will always be close by when you are low on health wink

That was close:

The sun was coming up, and a zombie was standing right in front of my door, but he was at just the right angle the sun wouldn't shine on him. So I decided to open the door and kill him. I got him fast, but then a creeper jumped down right behind him and bounced right into my house and I almost made him blow up. So I ran like [heck] to the back door (for some reason the creeper didn't follow), and went around the house and found him in my glass room. neutral I ended up breaking all the windows to get him out and keep him from destroying the whole place. I got him to blow up just a few feet from my front door. tongue Scary.
