That would work, for some people. Other people that are new for Scratch might not go on the main forums as much.

I agree. With the Archived Forums hidden, it's impossible for the average, uninformed user to find the link.
I'm taking a break from Scratch until 2.0 comes out. Any messages sent between then and now probably won't be read - sorry.

There's already a link to the TBG forums in the sticky thread "Text-Based Games belong in their own forum, not in here". Maybe there's a way to make that thread more noticeable?

What way do think would be easiest to make the TBG forums more noticeable?
I've taken a long hiatus, but I still visit sometimes. Give me some time to answer any messages you post on my projects!

Keep in mind if we show the TBGs on there, spammers will also have easy access, making it harder for us.

I remember the scratch team used CSS a while ago to hide a section of the forums, so why not add a nice link there or at the top/bottom of the main forum pages?
Anyway, if someone uses the TBG a lot they will have them in their bookmarks. As for the ones that don't know, the link at the bottom is still there and they can click on it and see there's a different site.
