Questions for Scimonster

here are the questions:

1.  what got you to join scratch?
2.  what is your favorite part of scratch?
3.  what is it like being curator?
4.  what would you change on scratch?
5.  what do you expect to be in scratch 2.0?
6. what would you recommend to new scratchers?
7. How do you think you became curator?
8. what is your favorite project you curated?
9.  what is the best project you've made?
10.  what would you change in scratch if anything?

Thanks!!

Re: Questions for Scimonster

Thanks for interviewing me! Here are my answers:

1) My mother found it and sent me a link. I downloaded it and created an account, and started scratching!

2) That's hard to say... Maybe it's the friendliness of the community, maybe the TBG, maybe the open source that allows me to have new blocks and download mods, maybe even make one!

3) It's pretty fun being able to have complete decision over the projects in a row, instead of being with 100 other people who help.

4) Probably some of the projects on the front page, which I am already doing.

5) I expect several great additions including cloning, procedures, easier dragging, and a bigger upload limit.

6) Don't quit because you aren't getting views. I have a project with only 5 views, not a very interesting project though.

7) I made a project stating my reasons in the form of a script, and put it on the curator forum. Three weeks ago, I got a comment by Paddle2See on my first project, asking if I still want to be curator. I emailed them, and here I am!

8) Probably http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/barbox/1558296

9) Probably Super-Puter 105, which is pending release. I can't compress it smaller than 12.4MB!

10) I'd definitely change the upload limit, for the above reason (SP105), and also the Paint editor. I'd like a few more buttons, like triangle drawer, a button to make the whole thing a square.
