The Hunger Games

No one disagrees with me that The Hunger Games is the best book ever written.
For those who don't know, it is about a future world in which a boy and a girl from each of twelve districts continue in a fight to the death every year. It sounds really violent and disgusting, but it is a GREAT book. It's not all violent, it has the character's politic views and thoughts, and everything about the book is amazing. In the Hunger Games arena, it's not even all violence, it's survival, and alliances, and it's such a great book. If you have not read it, I really hope you will.
I am on book two.
Not book three.
Book two.

Book three was the best. I was really satisfied with the ending, unlike other people.

Re: The Hunger Games

I won't disagree with you about it being a great series, I'll just say there are books I personally like better.

Re: The Hunger Games

On scratch, people say that Mockingjay is a good book, but my friends say it's the worst book ever. I'll read it.
I was unsatisfied with the end of Death Note, so if it's the same, forget it.

Read a bit once.

Way over-hyped.
Are people on tic-tacs when they read it or something.

Are you saying Katniss is stalking Peeta?

Cause there's no need to be ashamed of stating a fact.

Re: The Hunger Games

"Not at all violent?" Okay then! I mean, those dogs near the end aren't violent at all.

I read it a long time ago, and then again this year because we studied it in English. It's a decent book, but it's not the best.

Those dogs at the end were controlled by me. I only gave the guys at the Capitol the ILLUSION of control.

Re: The Hunger Games

I went on the bus this morning and my friend said "I would make a good Pita Bread!"
I was confused, thinking he meant smashing himself into flour and making tortillas, but he meant that he would be a good actor for Peeta in a hunger games movie, he calls him Peeta Bread because he is a baker, so Pita Bread, get the pun? I thought so.

READ IT NAO. BEST BOOK EVAR.

The Hunger Games is probably my favorite novel of all time. Better than Harry Potter (and that's saying something).  big_smile

I wouldn't recommend it to people who dislike violent books, though.
