I don't think they have gone overboard at all, they are already a major computer software company. They decided to make a new Operating System, and the reason apple is so popular is because they make their computers for the special purpose of their operating system, so of course Google makes their computer specially for the Chrome OS.

I hate it when people get jealous of success.

Chrome OS? That's useless. I would never entrust all my files to one company. Besides, if all your files are stored on the internet, what if you get hacked?
I have one too and I still use Linux. Linux is the best operating system ever devised.

I didn't know google owned Aardvark! I think Google is very clean, and it is the only computer company I don't hate right now. Windows is terrible, macs are very slowly becoming terrible, I am using Ubuntu on many of my computers because it is fantastic, there is no crashing, and it is FREE.

I think Google Chrome OS is the new thing that is going to save PC's.

It would be great if Google bought Scratch! Google is Super rich and Scratch could use that funding to get better.
