quicktime + scratch= not compatible?

I have a animation that I want to import into scratch, but for some reason, the scratch program rejects it. please help!

You can't import quicktime into scratch. Sorry.


I'm taking a break from Scratch until 2.0 comes out. Any messages sent between then and now probably won't be read - sorry.

If you can find a program that will convert your movie into an animated GIF, you can import the animated GIF into Scratch. It comes in as a sequence of costumes. You can then write a simple script to cycle through the costumes.
