Best recomended for the first game...
Hello, fellow people who go on the website known as scratch, I am here to put up a topic.
WHAT is the BEST game to start off making first? The one kind that I want to make is a RPG, but most of us know that it's the worst thing to start off game making in.
What simple games would YOU start off with? Side scrollers? One-person shooters? Perhaps something I haven't known the name of? I want your opinion, and advice on what graphics to use.
I know, useless tab, right? I made it anyway, lol.

Start off with something that's really simple to make - some examples:
• A project where you drive a car around the screen
• A project where you shoot targets
• A project where you control a basic character
I started off with a project where you can attack a sprite with various weapons, and my second project was a sort of lousy platformer - a bit ambitious at the time, and I thought variables useless back then. xD

I recommend looking around for ideas; try visiting older Scratchers' first projects

Maybe not. I mean, there are more types you could do. Like mine (not my first but I deleted everything else) it's not a gun game but, you have to shoot on to the target. Or maybe you can make a cool x-y scrooler. And make it a race or something
