Whenever you open or download a project? Click twice anywhere on the scratch window. Shift-click the loop of the R in Scratch. Click turn fill screen on, if it that is a choice. Then, click new in the file menu. Do not save. Then shift click the R again, and click save image for end user. Click yes.

Make sure you have the Java Runtime Environment installed on your computer. Go to Java.com and click the "Verify Installation" button to see if you have Java. If not, install Java.
